Description
Butterfly eggs are packaged in units of 30 to 35. Eggs are recommended if you want students to see the complete butterfly life cycle from the beginning. Eggs will take 4 weeks to produce adults, compared to butterfly larvae, which take 2 to 3 weeks to produce adults.
When you purchase eggs, we recommend you also purchase Painted Lady Culture Medium (item #144040) and Culture Cup Sets (item #144068) to raise the larvae. Note: Should not be shipped over a weekend. Carolina recommends that you request your order to arrive on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (or even a Saturday) to avoid weekend shipping.
