Description
Grade 9 and up. Use the world’s most powerful permanent magnet (rare-earth magnet), possessing many times the strength of ordinary magnets, for experiments including demonstrations of Lenz’s law and Faraday’s law of induction. Neodymium magnets are more durable than ceramic magnets. The ring is made of 28% neodymium (grade N35) (Nd), 70% iron (Fe), and 2% boron (B). Size, 1″ OD x 3/4″ ID x 1/4″ thick.
