Description
Using syringes, tubing, and special valves, students build models that can lift a car, dig a trench, and pick up objects. Each model is based on the principles of pneumatics and hydraulics.
While constructing fun devices, students learn about pneumatic and hydraulic systems, mechanical advantage, and Pascal’s law. They also see the real-life applications of these powerful principles in their models.
Reusable materials are sufficient for a group of students to build one model at a time.
