Description

Product Details
Grades 9–12. Students use a guided-inquiry technique as they work in groups to simulate natural selection through predation. They will:

  • Observe how natural selection affects a population
  • Learn that mutations, gene flow, genetic drift, and selective mating affect a population
  • Provide cross-curricular integrations such as math and graphing

Experiments address natural selection, variety within species, overpopulation, genetic variability, and gene pools.

Kit includes enough materials for 32 students working in groups of 4. Receive a FREE digital Teacher’s Manual and Student Guide with kit purchase.
