Description
- Study the 4 types of chemical reactions
- Predict the products of reactions
- Write and balance chemical equations
Grades 9–12. Students analyze synthesis, decomposition, single replacement, and double replacement reactions. They then determine the products from each microscale reaction, using this information to write and balance accurate chemical equations. Finally, students select their own reagents, run a reaction, determine the reaction type, and write the balanced chemical equation.
Part of the Inquiries in Science™ series. Materials are sufficient for 30 students working in groups of 3.
