The polished, extra-long aluminum reflector dome extends beyond the face of the lamp, preventing the bulb from extending beyond the dome itself. The dome’s highly polished aluminum interior increases UVB and UVA output. The ceramic bulb housing accepts bulbs up to 160 W, perfect for use with ReptiSun® Compact Fluorescent Bulb (item #674413).
