Spectrum Tube, Carbon Dioxide. When viewed through a spectroscope, spectrum tubes reveal the characteristic spectral lines of elements. Like a fingerprint, these lines identify elements and enable astronomers to study the comparison of stars, galaxies, and even the universe.
