Description

Precisely measure the concentration or absorbance of 96- and 384-well plates without the need for filters! The Accuris™ SmartReader™ UV-Vis Microplate Reader has been designed with ease of use and fast results in mind. Utilizing a large 10″ touch screen and user-friendly interface, the monochromator-based optical system lets you select wavelengths from 200 to 1,000 nm with no filters required, making this standalone instrument perfect for ELISAs, Bradford Lowry assays, turbidity assays, quantitation of nucleic acids or proteins, and more. The integrated incubator and multi-speed plate shaker allow optimization of assay results.

The standalone design means all software and the programing system are incorporated into the electronics. However, a convenient USB port on the side allows quick, easy saving of data files to a USB drive; the universal .csv files can then be shared or transferred to a computer for storage or further processing. Two additional USB ports can be used for connecting a computer or basic printer.

The plate layout interface allows quick, intuitive setup of a plate’s well contents. The display shows a graphical representation of the plate, and you can label wells as “known standard,” “unknown sample,” “blank well,” “QC control well,” “positive control,” “negative control,” or “empty.” The interface lets you highlight and label multiple wells to save time.
