Description
3B® Scientific. Show your students what happens when bones are moved or even dislocated with this human physiology classroom skeleton. A must-have model for studying the range of skeletal movement, it features special articulations for increased range of motion. The skeleton is articulated to show normal posture but can be flexed to show a variety of other postures. It also features:
- Skull movement and rotation of the first 2 vertebrae
- A specially designed neck and spinal column that demonstrate increased range of movement involving extraordinary joint dislocation
- Special shoulder blade and hip attachments with greater range of movement to demonstrate internal and external rotation of arms and legs
- 1 hand and 1 foot articulated with elastic filament for increased joint movement
- Special articulations of the sacrum and coccygeal joint, and the sacrum and pelvis, allowing in-depth study of these 2 important areas of concern
- Detachable skull with cut calvarium and spring-held lower jaw
Skeleton hangs on a newly designed stand that includes a 2-part metal rod and a stable metal base with casters. A plastic dust cover and a Human Anatomy Manual are included. Height and weight, including stand: 192.5 cm, 9.6 kg.
