Description
Weather impacts everyone, every day, in some way. The meteorologists who study weather patterns are our best source for information. This experiment provides students with the experience of being a meteorologist. Students study pressure changes and create their own barometer, study wind speed and create their own anemometer, and develop the skills to confidently read a weather map. The activities also include a demonstration of how clouds form, as the instructor forms a vapor cloud. Kit includes enough material for 30 students working in pairs. The demonstration portion has enough material to perform the demonstration 5 times.
