This ciliate is an excellent example of symbiosis. It is green in color because of zoochlorella in its cytoplasm. Optimal medium: Carolina® Springwater + Protozoan Pellets. Optimal growth temperature: 22° C.
Culture contains enough material for a class of 30 students. A free dropping pipet is included with each culture. Please state the expected use date and allow sufficient time for proper handling.
