Peranema sp. This organism is an interesting, nonphotosynthetic flagellate that feeds on decaying organic matter. Each culture contains enough material for a class of 30 students. Optimal medium: Wheat Seed (item #132425) + Egg Yolk + Carolina® Springwater (item #132450). Optimum growth temperature: 22° C. Please state the expected use date and allow sufficient time for proper handling. A free dropping pipet is included with each culture.
