Description
Protococcus sp. A terrestrial green alga that can frequently be found living on the surface of wood or other plants. This liquid culture contains enough material for 30 students and is ideal for studying morphology in the classroom.
The culture requires a high light level of 200 to 400 foot-candles of fluorescent light 18 to 24″ from the culture. Optimal medium: EREM. Optimum growth temperature: 22° C.
