Marchantia is the genus of liverworts most often described in textbooks. The nonvascular plants have both male structures that produce antheridia and female structures that produce archegonia. However, these Marchantia specimens have visible archegonia only. Each portion contains 12 archegoniophores and measures 4-1/2 x 4-1/2″. Available April—June. Note: Cannot ship into CA.
