This kit provides quick access to a freshwater ecosystem – right in your classroom. Use it as a means for students to practice water quality sampling, testing, and macroinvertebrate observation and identification before beginning fieldwork; or to simply engage students’ curiosity about living things and moving water.
It includes a 35-gal, freestanding water garden; a 5-gal, 3-section cascade; and a 350-gal/hr pump with tubing. These components can be assembled in minutes to create a freshwater stream and pond ecosystem in your classroom.
