Beginning—Easy to perform, requires little or no prior knowledge.
The classic gel electrophoresis lab
Bring convenience to your gel electrophoresis instruction with the Restriction Enzyme Cleavage of DNA Kit, which features pre-cut DNA fragments and all reagents needed to get your students up and running a gel. Students determine the sizes for DNA fragments by performing electrophoresis on, staining, and visualizing an uncut lambda DNA control and DNA predigested with EcoRI and HindIII. The included dry labs provide additional supports for new learners and are perfect to use during gel running times.
