Description
This kit introduces beginners to basic dissection techniques and the internal and external anatomy of 4 very different animals—the earthworm, crayfish, grasshopper, and frog. During each dissection, students locate key anatomical structures and learn about their related functions. This budding biologist starter kit is designed for use by 1 or 2 students and includes a teacher’s manual with background information and instructional tips as well as a student guide with step-by-step procedures and labeled color images for each specimen. The included Carolina’s Perfect Solution® specimens are safe, realistic, pleasant to work with, and do not require any special disposal. The Replacement Animals Set (item #221022) includes 1 each of the 4 specimens, available separately.
