Use preserved rabbits to study advanced mammalian anatomy. Students can easily examine the musculature and mature body systems, including the circulatory system, urinary system, digestive system of an herbivore, and more. These preserved specimens are shipped in the extended anatomical position for easy dissection and examination of the internal and external anatomy. Carosafe®
Carosafe® preservative and holding solution for biological specimens contains no formaldehyde and is not a tissue fixative. Most Carosafe® specimens were first preserved with a formalin solution and then washed before placement in Carosafe®. Specimens are held in Carosafe® prior to shipment, producing formalin-preserved specimens that, when dissected, minimize formaldehyde exposure.
