Description
Using the pig heart—which is almost identical to a human’s—students learn the basic anatomy of the mammalian heart. In this introductory-level dissection activity, students locate and identify the external and internal features while tracing the path of blood through the heart. This kit is designed for 1 or 2 students and includes a teacher’s manual with background information and instructional tips as well as a student guide with step-by-step procedures and labeled color images.
