Description
Biorama™ preparation. Demonstrate Gregor Mendel’s classic genetic experiment using this informative display of his pea plant crosses. The display investigates phenotypes of pea shape, crossing 2 homozygous parents and yielding the F1 and F2 generations. Students visualize separation of alleles and make the distinction between dominant and recessive traits. The mount features solid-colored marbles representing the dominant allele and semi-transparent marbles representing the recessive allele. Genetic crossing is labeled and represented in an 8 x 12″ glass-fronted display case.
