Description
Microscope slide with whole mount of female Schistosoma japonicum. This species lives in the hepatic portal veins of humans, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, cats, rabbits, and other mammals. It causes the human disease oriental schistosomiasis, which occurs only in China and Japan.
