Description
Use this Human Female Blood Film, Smear microscope slide to study the common anatomy of blood, and pair it with the Human Male Blood Film Slide (item #309170) to examine the differences between male and female human blood cells. The most visible difference is that in female white blood cells, there is a structure called the drumstick protruding from the cells’ multi-lobed nuclei. This feature is not present in male white blood cells. Stain may vary between hematoxylin and eosin and Wright’s.
