Description
This set of 12 models shows various phases of animal meiosis cell division, with each phase cut laterally to show the cell interior. The phases are: prophase 1, which includes leptotene, zygotene, pachytene, diplotene, and diakinesis; metaphase 1; anaphase 1; telophase 1; prophase 2; metaphase 2; anaphase 2; and telophase 2. Students are able to follow chromosomal movement throughout the phases of cell division. Labeled for easy reference. Mounted on board. Base size, 51 x 46 x 5 cm.
