This 8-oz bottle provides nitrifying bacteria that quickly consume ammonia and nitrate. Use it while setting up a new tank, adding new fish, or providing water changes. By immediately establishing the biological filter, Quick Start™ helps prevent new tank syndrome. Simply add 10 mL per 10 gal of water for freshwater aquariums or double for saltwater aquariums.
