Description
Give your students the opportunity to learn about difficult concepts with a hands-on approach. Using petriscope models, they are able to observe and recognize a variety of blood disorders, including lymphatic leukemia, myeloid leukemia, and monocytic leukemia. Then they synthesize a model of normal or diseased blood using disposable beads. Models are analyzed on a magnified hemocytometer chart for diagnosis. Includes 4 petriscope models, disposable bead packets (for Lesson 2 and Lesson 3), and teacher-student guide. Materials are sufficient for 5 groups of students.
