Description
Grades 9–12. Use measurement and graphical analysis skills to calculate the density of solids (regular and irregular) and liquids. Apply that knowledge to create a colorful layered density column and identify 2 mystery objects. Then determine the thickness of a penny and aluminum foil using calculations and graphs.
Kit comes with instructions and enough materials to support 16 teams of students working cooperatively in pairs. Needed but not supplied: common laboratory equipment and pennies.
