Spectrum Tube, Hydrogen. When viewed through a spectroscope, spectrum tubes reveal the characteristic spectral lines of elements. Like a fingerprint, these lines identify elements and enable astronomers to study the comparison of stars, galaxies, and even the universe. The tube design concentrates the gases in the center for better brilliance. Tube is 25 cm L with termination caps at each end. Requires Spectrum Tube Power Supply (#755400, not supplied).
