Description
Grades 4–8. Students take an imaginary trip around the globe to meet 4 scientists and get a sense of the wide variety of ways that chemistry is used to benefit mankind. Each scientist introduces one of 4 types of evidence for chemical change. The activities include the production of a gas, chemistry and color change, formation of a precipitate, and temperature change. Materials are suitable for 32 students working in groups of 4.
