Description
The AC/DC Electronics Laboratory dynamically teaches the basics of AC/DC circuits. It features banana jacks for computer connection, component springs that secure circuit components, a push button switch, light bulbs and sockets, potentiometer, coil, battery holder, storage tray, and an iron core. The AC/DC Electronics Laboratory can be used with an 850 or 550 Interface or as a stand-alone unit with D batteries. With PASCO Capstone and a Voltage Sensor, students can measure the electromotive force (EMF) created when a magnet is dropped through a coil, as well as the changes in magnetic flux caused by the magnet.
