University of Guelph Visit!
On March 5th, I had the opportunity to visit the University of Guelph with one of our sales representatives, Helen. We kicked off our visit at the Ontario Veterinary College, Canada’s leading veterinary school. The building featured impressive displays, including anatomical models, artwork, and state-of-the-art labs. Although navigating the building was a bit tricky, it gave us the chance to connect with students and a helpful lab assistant who was already familiar with Carolina products and guided us to our first meeting.
We then met with a faculty member who Helen had been in touch with, and had a productive conversation about her interests and needs regarding our product offerings. After that, we headed over to the Summerlee Science Complex, a place I’m quite familiar with from my time as a science student at the university. There, we spoke with several professors and lab assistants, sharing information and answering questions about Carolina’s resources. Our last stop was McNaughton, where we were supposed to meet with a psychology professor. Unfortunately, he was unavailable, but we left some materials for him.
Overall, it was a great visit with some really engaging conversations. Seeing how customers responded to meeting Helen really showed how much putting a face to the name can make a difference.
