Getting started with //code.Node is quick and easy. Simply connect the //code.Node to SPARKvue and begin coding instructions for its sensor inputs and device outputs. As the code is executed, SPARKvue displays real-time data from the //code.Node’s active sensors.

//code.Node is comprised of six sensor inputs, including a Temperature Sensor, Motion Sensor, Magnetic Field Sensor, Sound Sensor, Light Sensor, and two Momentary Switches, and four device outputs that can be programmed alone, together, or in combination with any PASCO sensor.

Programing With Blockly

Included in SPARKvue 4 and Capstone 2, Blockly offers students a new world of experimental opportunities that focus on computational thinking, data visualization, and sensor inquiry. As they execute their code, students can visualize their data using real-time graphical displays that assist with data visualization. The user-friendly design allows students to simply drag and connect coding blocks that correlate with syntactically correct coding elements such as variables, commands, and loops.
